Souther Country Lodge is a hidden gem offering an exceptional one-of-a-kind vacation experience. Nestled on a 200-acre private wildlife preserve, our charming rock lodge comfortably accommodates large groups. If you are looking for the perfect location for a family reunion, girls' getaway, guys' trip or a workshop retreat destination, Souther Country Lodge offers something for everyone in your group.
The property showcases the beautiful flora and fauna native to North Georgia and includes two lakes and private hiking trails. The lodge offers ping pong, billiards, and basketball recreation, and a fire pit area, as well as, a phenomenal view of Brasstown Bald Mountain. Though secluded in nature, it is still within close proximity to restaurants, golfing, spas, breweries, vineyards, shopping, horseback riding and a plethora of outdoor activities.

Incredible mountain and private flora views are abundant throughout the two story, 11-bedroom lodge. Space is not an issue, as this amazing retreat hosts 8 queen beds, 4 twin beds and 2 full beds, with a total of 10 full baths and 1 half-bath. Each charming vintage styled bedroom has a walk in closet, and full bathroom, as well as its own adjustable wall unit for heat and air conditioning.
The fully stocked kitchen is built for servicing large groups with a sizable subzero refrigerator-freezer, double range and walk in pantry. The media/library game room is a great place for some friendly board game competition or a good movie.
Right across the hall you can test your accuracy skills on our brand-new billiard table. The great hall dining area insures everyone has a place at the table. There is a handicap access ramp and one handicap accessible bedroom and private bathroom on the main level.
Outside amenities includes private walking trails, a stocked lake, creeks and a campfire area. We also provide a basketball goal and ping pong table. The paved area around the lodge provides ample parking and space for outdoor activities.
